WHAT IS GASTRIC PLACATION (STOMACH FOLDING) SURGERY?
There is no question of gastric plication or in other words cutting or removal of any organ such as stomach folding, stomach reduction or gastric by-pass surgery. The operation of the stomach plexus is a relatively new operation. Trocar is inserted into the abdomen with the help of tools we call and is inflated with carbon dioxide gas. The operation is performed under general anesthesia. The surgery is performed using a video camera and small instruments in the presence of a special surgical telescope image. In this surgery, the left side, called the large curvature, is separated from the greasy tissue around it, and then folded along the outer curve one or more times along its longitudinal length.
